About the HESI exam

The Health Education Systems, Inc. (HESI) exam is specifically designed and intended for Lee College students pursuing a degree or certificate at Lee College. To apply to any of the Lee College Nursing Programs, complete an application during the specified application period.

Registering and Scheduling for a HESI exam

  1. HESI candidates must create an Evolve account and pay for the applicable exam using the unique payment ID link in the table below. Please write your username and password for your Evolve account, as it will be needed on test day. Without the username and password, you will be unable to take the exam and be asked to reschedule.
  2. Schedule an appointment with the Lee College Testing Center through RegisterBlast. When scheduling, make sure you select the applicable exam. All testing appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Day of Testing

On testing day, candidates must be prepared with the following items:

  • Evolve username and password. 
  • Acceptable and valid photo identification.
  • Making sure the HESI exam has been paid.

On testing day, candidates will:

  • Leave all personal belongings — cell phones and smartwatches — in the vehicle. Due to the high volume of students testing simultaneously, lockers will be unavailable.
  • Arrive on time. If you arrive after the exam has officially started, you will be asked to reschedule your exam.
  • Be monitored throughout testing.
  • Receive scratch paper and pencils and be instructed to return all test materials to the check-in station upon completing the exam. A calculator will be embedded into the HESI exam and appear when needed.

*Each applicant can only test once per application period. Only the first opportunity will be considered if an applicant retests, and the exam fee will be non-refundable.
