Course Review: In keeping with our mission of continual improvement, each instructional designer uses a standard course review document to evaluate the online courses within their designated divisions, ensuring a consistent review process across the college.

Online Course Reviews: Our instructional designers review the online courses within their designated divisions. Each designer partners with the faculty in their assigned areas to help ensure courses are well organized, accessible, and aligned with best practices for online teaching and learning. All online courses are reviewed. In addition, a specific course may be requested for review by a Division Chair, Executive Director of Academic Programs, Executive Director of Industrial and Technical Programs, Vice President of Academic Affairs, or Provost.
Each review takes a closer look at course introduction, student engagement and interaction, accessibility, assessment and measurement, instructional materials and activities, student support, gradebook, and navigation. Instructors will be contacted if any design or gradebook findings need attention, and an instructional designer will be available to collaborate on improvements.
