There are many benefits in being a part of the Lee College Cheer team! Here are a few examples.
Each team member receives a $1,000 scholarship each semester. There are opportunities for receiving more scholarships for specific roles on the team, as well.- All of their practice gear, uniforms, pompoms, shoes, etc., are provided by the program. Lee College believes that those who are a part of the cheer team be focused on being ambassadors and cheerleaders for the school; they should not have to worry about paying for these items. Being a part of this team comes with a lot of responsibilities, and the school wants to see cheerleaders doing their best.
- Getting to be an ambassador for the school!
- With events, games, parades, etc., cheerleaders are often out in the public eye and interacting with the Lee College service area. Getting the chance to be a leader is a wonderful benefit.
