Beyond tutoring, the Learning Hub offers comfortable spaces where you can study independently or collaborate with classmates. The Learning Hub also offers spaces and resources for individual and group study, including:

Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a free academic support program designed for courses that students often find challenging. Each SI supported course is paired with an SI Coach, a trained peer who attends class, understands the course expectations, and leads interactive study sessions called SI Sessions in which students will build the knowledge from what they learned in class, practice key concepts and problems, and learn alongside their classmates.
SI Coaches also offer tutoring and one-on-one support outside of class.
Benefits of Supplemental Instruction (SI):
- Enhanced Academic Performance: Students who regularly attend SI sessions tend to earn higher average final course grades than students who do not attend.
- Increased Retention Rates: Supports students in persisting through challenging courses.

How can student join SI session?
- We encourage all students to join any SI session, even if they are not enrolled in the course.
- SI Sessions start on time, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can reserve your spot ahead of time through Penji.
