Dr. Marissa Moreno

Dr. Marissa MorenoDr. Ma­ris­sa Mor­eno is the Interim As­soci­ate Vice Presi­dent of Stu­dent Ser­vices and the Execu­tive Direc­tor of School & Col­lege Part­ner­ships at Lee Col­lege in Bay­town, Texas.

Dr. Mo­reno serves as the chief stra­te­gist in ampli­fying stu­dents' ex­peri­ences through navi­gation­al pro­ces­ses of at­tend­ing col­lege and col­labora­tive work with fac­ulty to en­sure stu­dents are succes­sful.

In her In­terim role, she leads the Admis­sions, Finan­cial Aid, Stu­dent Suc­cess Cen­ter, Test­ing, and TRiO EOC teams. In ad­dition, Dr. Moreno oversees the Re­cruit­ment/Out­reach, Advis­ing & Trans­fer Pro­grams, Dual Credit Programs, Shared College Coordinators, and Student Employment & Career Services departments, ensuring a seamless pipeline approach is intact for students starting as early as middle school.

More recently, she serves as a Vice-Chair for the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) - Research Commission, where she works and presents with top researchers in the areas of dual credit and concurrent enrollment, researching policy across the nation.

In addition, Dr. Moreno supports dual enrollment research through her active participation with the NACEP community. She completed her Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Houston-Main Campus, publishing two articles about dual credit and Early College High Schools in the Community College Journal of Research and Practice.
